We generally get together the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month
from 9-11 a.m. at the house of one of the members.
We currently alternate between meeting on West Hill, Ithaca, and near
We send out an email announcement a few days before each time.
Please bring your own cushions, benches, etc for sitting meditation,
or you are welcome to use the chairs. (Some people sit on chairs/sofa.)
You are encouraged to arrive 5-10 minutes early to settle in,
since we start on time, but if you are late, please still come and just
settle in quietly.

||10 minutes of guided Samatha Yoga, 9 simple standing yoga postures

||Dharma discussion: group discussion of a selected book.
We are currently reading "The Benevolent MindA Manual
in Mind Training by Traleg Kyabgon. We encourage all who
can to read the next section in advance of attending. If you havent
read it, come anyway.
It is not our intention to read the book aloud word for word, so if
folks come prepared to speak on a part they wish, that will support
the group discussion. Of course, we may still read aloud a particular
bit for discussion purposes.
